      <image:caption>During the indiscriminate devastation of the Covid pandemic, a new virus started spreading, that did discriminate. As ignorance and disinformation spread so to did the rise in Asian hate crimes. Citi wanted to make a bold statement that they stood up against Asian hate and was an ally to Asian Americans who had become fearful after seeing so many surveillance videos of these brutal attacks.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Learning that women are paid 29% less than men at Citi should shock you. But we’ve all heard about the Pay Gap for years and it just doesn’t jolt us the way it should anymore. Kids though, see the world through naive eyes, with a clear understanding of right and wrong. So how would they react when they heard about the pay gap for the first time? To find out, we commissioned a celebrated female photographer to conduct a social experiment: capture the moment the daughters of Citi employees learn about the Pay Gap for the first time. Their reactions in the film, and the powerful portraits captured, serve as a reminder to us all, to never be complacent in the face of inequality.
